European Commission – OME Conference: Euro-Mediterranean Natural Gas Market: Prospects, challenges and opportunities at the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels
Brussels, 11 June 2015 – To follow on directly from the Ufm Platform on gas launch and on the occasion of the OME General Assembly, the European Commission and the Observatoire Méditerranéen de l’Energie organised a one-day conference on the “Euro-Mediterranean Natural Gas Market: Prospects, challenges and opportunities”. The Conference took place on 11 June at the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels.
In addition to the high-level opening session, the event was structured in 4 round tables on: Role of gas in energy security and climate change mitigation; game changers; financing issues in the Mediterranean gas market; regional cooperation and Mediterranean gas hub.
