Energy in the Mediterranean (ENERMED) is a training programme proposed by OME to junior staff of member companies and interested stakeholders. ENERMED V will be held in 2 sessions as following:

- 1 & 2 July 2013 (OME office): Energy Statistcis and balances. Agenda & Registration.

- 3 & 4 July 2013 ( OME office): Market Regulation in the Mediterranean area and Renewable Energy Integration into the Electrcity Systems: Challenges and Solutions. Agenda & Registration.


 OME’s recently published prospective energy analysis, MEP 2011, shows concern about the chances to meet the steep rise of electricity demand in South and East Mediterranean countries, which may nearly multiply by three in 2030 under a business as usual scenario (“Conservative”)


ENERMED_Gr3"Energy in the Mediterranean” (ENERMED) is a training program designed for OME Member companies. The objective of the ENERMED Training Workshop is to give participants new insight on the energy context of the Mediterranean; energy fields, actors, financing, regional cooperation, institutional framework, regional initiatives, risks, energy security, perspectives, energy efficiency and climate change, etc. The Workshop also aims at building a network, setting up a platform for knowledge sharing, and facilitating communication among future energy leaders.
