OME participated in the first event of the Mediterranean forum on electricity and climate change organized by CMI in Tunis

Key stakeholders from governments, IFIs, energy companies, energy regulators, associations, and other energy experts convened in Tunis on May 27th to discuss the role of Mediterranean energy market integration in delivering the Paris agreement.

The event was organized by CMI – Center for Mediterranean Integration, a multi-partner platform where development agencies, Governments, local authorities and civil society from around the Mediterranean convene in order to exchange knowledge, discuss public policies, and identify the solutions needed to address key challenges facing the Mediterranean region. OME, through its Director of Renewable Energy and Electricity Dr. Emanuela Menichetti, participated in the forum event, and gave an introductory presentation during the session on “Renewables and Mediterranean Integration: Policy and Regulatory Framework”.
