OME Strategy Committee in Paris
Hosted by OME, the meeting of the OME Strategy Committee successfully took place in Paris on 12 May, the day after the 2nd Interim Steering Committee of the UfM Platform on Gas.
Participants have been informed about the very recent retirement of Committee Chairman Hassan Difa and the proposal to hand over to Mr Abdellatif Bardach the Committee Chairmanship. Houda Allal conveyed the greetings and thanks of Mr Difa to all members for the excellent cooperation and friendship, his appreciation for OME development and his best wishes for the future. Members thanked Mr Difa for all his efforts, wishing him good continuation. They very much welcomed Mr. Bardach new Chairman of the Strategy Committee, looking forward pursuing the excellent cooperation and effective operation of the Committee.
The meeting then discussed the outcome of the 2nd Interim Steering Committee of the UfM Platform on Gas and role of OME as stakeholder and also the annual OME Conference to be co-organised with the European Commission back to back the Gas Platform Launch on 11 June in Brussels.
