Climate change and migration, 1st edition
OME participated at a roundtable on offshore wind development in the Mediterranean during the conference “ACROSS THE SEA”, organized at the University of Genoa on 5-7 June. The conference gathered 13 delegations from all over the Mediterranean to discuss the impacts on climate change on the sea and migrations. Several roundtables on climate mitigation actions, including the role of renewables took place during the three-day programme.
The panel discussion on “Floating offshore wind: a renewable technological perspective for energy independence in the Mediterranean? ” saw the participation of ERG, ANEV, RINA and Fichtner Italia. OME was represented by Dr. Emanuela Menichetti, Director of the Renewable Energy and Electricity Division.
