OME’s training workshop on Energy Balances and Statistics
From 19 to 21 November 2012, the OME organised another session of its ENERMED training programme on energy balances and statistics in its premises in Paris. The objective was to get junior staff of OME Member companies familiarized with the definitions and procedures most commonly used to collect and process energy data. Dr. Karbuz and Mr. Castellano, members of OME staff with a wide previous experience in energy statistics at the International Energy Agency and International Energy Forum, led the 3-day Workshop and stimulated the group of 16 Delegates participating in the meeting. Mr. Garnier, Head of the Energy Data Centre at the IEA, contributed as guest speaker.
