Spring meeting of OME’s Renewable Energy Committee took place in Rome, 18 May 2016
Members of the Renewable Energy Committee met in Rome on 18 May 2016, hosted by Enel Green Power. The meeting was organized back to back with the Annual Conference of RES4Med on “Enhancing investments for clean tech solutions, beyond MENA towards Africa: challenges and opportunities”, which took place at the Enel Auditorium on 19 May 2016. RES4Med – Renewable Energy Solutions for the Mediterranean is an integrated platform for public-private dialogue on renewable energy issues in the Mediterranean, and recently joined the Renewable Energy Committee of OME as associate member.
Next Committee meeting will mostly take place in September in Lebanon, at the occasion of the Beirut Energy Forum.
