An expert workshop organised by the Technical Committee on Renewable Energy of OME, in cooperation with STEG and ANME

The Renewable Energy Committee of OME, in cooperation with STEG and ANME organize a one-day expert workshop on sustainable energy policy and market solutions to foster the transition to a low-carbon future in North Africa. The workshop is open to OME member companies and partners of the Renewable Energy Technical Committee, as well as institutional actors from Tunisia and other countries of the South and East of the Mediterranean, and international organisations having a focus on the Mediterranean region. Main topics discussed will be:

• National programmes for energy efficiency and renewable energy in North Africa and the South-East Mediterranean
• The role of energy companies in the transition to a low-carbon energy future
• Key challenges and proposals for COP21 and in view of the COP22 in Morocco
• Towards a regional integrated sustainable development policy: which ambitions for which objectives?
